PASCO Ventures’ Paul A. Stewart Named the 2024 Frank Barnes Mentor Award Winner by Licensing Executives Society (USA & Canada), Inc.

Mentoring Award Presented at Annual Meeting in New Orleans on October 21, 2024


NEW ORLEANS, LA – October 21, 2024
Paul A. Stewart, Managing Director of PASCO Ventures LLC, has been named the 2024 Frank Barnes Mentor Award recipient by the Licensing Executives Society (USA & Canada), Inc. (LES). The award will be presented during the Annual Meeting October 20-23 at the Marriott New Orleans.

The Barnes Award was established in 2000 to memorialize Frank Barnes’ extraordinary contributions to the field of licensing through mentorship. In his honor, the award is given annually to an LES member who has contributed significantly to the field of licensing and to the development of fellow licensing professionals through outstanding mentorship activities.

“This year, LES is proud to honor Paul Stewart and recognize his long commitment to generosity in sharing his time, expertise, and friendship with fellow licensing professionals,” said Don Drinkwater, Chair of the Frank Barnes Award Nominating Committee.

Paul helps teach many courses and professional development classes for LES, and also volunteers with Certified Licensing Professionals (CLP) to help prepare professionals to obtain the CLP licensing certification. He currently serves as the LES volunteer course chair and instructor for the CLP (Certified Licensing Professional) Exam Review Course, and teaches segments of the LES Mechanics of a License and the Negotiations courses.

Prior to founding PASCO Ventures LLC, Paul worked for 25 years at Eli Lilly and Company, managing business development and intellectual property licensing, equity transactions and acquisitions in various divisions of the global company. He holds an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
