DESCRIPTION
Managing a company’s IP assets can be challenging on several fronts. Based on his experiences in three major companies, Mr. Gwinnell will explore some of these challenges, not only from the perspective of what to do, but also how to get it done. He will cover the “journey” from the value destruction perspective in failing to do it, all the way up to the visionary stage that some, but not many, companies attain.

Harry J. Gwinnell
In addition to his work experience mentioned above, Mr. Gwinnell also served as a Patent Examiner for many years, and has been President of the ACPC, IPO Education Foundation, and the Connecticut and Tennessee Patent Law Associations. He has also served on the boards of ACPC, IPO, and the National Inventors Hall of Fame. He has received the IPO Presidents Distinguished Service Award, and is currently on the advisory committees of the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property at the University of New Hampshire, and the William Mitchell College of Law in Minneapolis.
